Ryan Ribeiro-Rodriguez joinS The Arc of Opportunity as President and Chief Executive Officer, bringing more than 20 years of leadership experience across healthcare, human services, and mission driven nonprofit organizations. He began his career working in special education and with organizations serving individuals with disabilities, where he developed a deep commitment to person centered services, inclusion, and community based supports. These early experiences continue to shape his leadership philosophy and are a central reason he is drawn to The Arc of Opportunity’s mission.
Ryan later transitioned into community health, where he spent two decades leading complex, multi-site organizations focused on access, equity, and operational excellence. Most recently, he served as Chief Operations Officer at North Shore Community Health, overseeing day to day operations, compliance, facilities, and strategic growth initiatives. He is widely regarded as a transformative, people centered leader known for strengthening organizational culture, building high performing teams, modernizing systems, and guiding organizations through periods of growth and change while remaining grounded in mission and values.
Throughout his career, Ryan has partnered closely with boards, staff, families, and community stakeholders to expand services, improve outcomes, and ensure long term organizational sustainability. He brings deep expertise in governance, financial stewardship, compliance, and strategic planning, along with a collaborative leadership style rooted in transparency, trust, and shared accountability.As President and CEO, Ryan is committed to building on the strong foundation and culture established under the leadership of Mary Heafy. He looks forward to honoring The Arc of Opportunity’s legacy while working alongside staff, individuals served, families, and community partners to support continued growth, innovation, and impact across the region.Ryan holds a Master of Public Administration and a Master of Education and currently serves on several nonprofit and community advisory boards across Massachusetts.
