Cheryl A. White currently serves as Chief Operating Officer at the League School for Autism, where she provides strategic direction and operational oversight for both day and residential programs. With more than 20 years of nonprofit leadership experience and over 15 years in Special Education administration, she has successfully driven organizational growth, led large-scale program expansions, streamlined operational systems, and advanced diversity and inclusion initiatives.
Advanced training and certifications in Organizational Behavior Management and Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging strengthen her expertise. A committed mentor and national presenter, Cheryl has shared her insights on topics such as mitigating staff burnout, teacher retention, and elevating individual voices in support planning.
Cheryl holds a Doctorate in Education in Transformational Leadership from Bay Path University and a Master’s degree in Nonprofit Management from Lasell College. Her research on teacher retention and organizational support informs her ongoing work to develop innovative solutions and lead organizational improvement projects.
