Kerry Ann Prentice is a Quality Assurance Specialist who supports our programming divisions with ongoing compliance and manages our electronic record system (iCentrix), is responsible for the management of the database, and providing technical problem-solving.
Coming from a totally different role as a residential manager, When Kerry was offered the QA role and was informed about the very different work responsibilities, she was willing to take an intelligent risk, to try something different and unconventional. Kerry Ann proves that she has done a phenomenal job by taking this risk, which is evident in the work she does every day. Kerry Ann truly makes Quality Personal. She takes every feedback with grace. She makes a great team, and it is always a pleasure working on projects together.
Given the nature of QA work, there is always a new project or a new report that needs work and Kerry takes pride in whatever she does, and honors her commitment to work through all the projects and tasks with ease. We are currently working on a huge iCentrix project and seeing Kerry’s commitment to this project, and following up on everything is very inspiring.
There are many instances where I have witnessed Kerry thinking about her team members first even if there is an impending deadline. For instance, when there are any iCentrix help desk issues, Kerry jumps in right away to resolve that first to ensure there is no interruption of work for the team members.
During our recent OQE Survey, Kerry Ann has gone the extra mile to deliver legendary services. She did not hesitate to help programs by reaching out to providers for medical documentation and even working extra hours and weekends to ensure documents were in place before OQE. Kerry Ann is always relentless about improvement- no matter how much work it involves, she is always focused on the end goal.
Lastly, there is not a meeting that goes without some fun and laughter as Kerry really knows how to keep things fun at work. Kerry Ann has made a significant contribution to the QA division and the Agency. Considering it was just me in the QA division for quite some time, the best way to describe Kerry’s contributions would be like an Oasis in the desert for the QA division. I truly feel honored to nominate Kerry Ann as a Way of the Arc Champion.
