IC Federal Credit Union makes "jean's day" donation to The Arc

The Arc of Opportunity recently received a very generous donation from a local business, IC Federal Credit Union. IC’s Jeans for Charity program, now in its seventh year, has helped many area charitable organizations over the years. “To date, the employee-funded program, has donated in excess of $65,000,” said Holly Sanchez, AVP of IC’s Talent Management Department. “We pay to wear jeans to help those in need,” added Angela Sanville, Talent Management Specialist.

All of the donations made to The Arc directly benefit the Family Support program. This critical program, which receives very little government funding, provide trainings, workshops, support groups, self-advocacy meetings and recreational activities. This year, the total fundraising needed to keep these resources available are a whopping $82, 341!

Jane, Diane, and Jane are very happy to receive this gift on behalf of all the individuals and families that are supported through The Arc.

Thank you, IC Federal Credit Union!!
