Join us for a relaxing summer cookout at the beautiful Leominster State Forest! Spend the day enjoying the outdoors with friends while taking in the scenic views and fresh air. Participants will enjoy a delicious cookout featuring classic picnic favorites, outdoor games, music, and plenty of opportunities to socialize.
There will be time to explore the park, take a leisurely walk along the trails, enjoy the picnic area, and participate in fun group activities. Whether you want to play games, relax in nature, or simply enjoy good food and great company, there will be something for everyone.
This is the perfect opportunity to celebrate summer, connect with friends, and enjoy a fun-filled day in the great outdoors. Participants should wear comfortable clothing, bring a water bottle, sunscreen, and any personal items needed for a day outside.
To attend Saturday Recreation events, please make sure that you have completed a Weekend Recreation Intake Packet. Please arrive at The Arc 15 minutes prior to the start time of the event. We cannot hold the van for attendees that arrive more than 15 minutes after the start time of the event. The Arc offices are at 564 Main Street in Fitchburg, MA 01420. The GPS address is 161 Boulder Drive, Fitchburg MA 01420. When dropping off, please make sure that attendees are welcomed into the building prior to leaving the parking lot. Refunds can only be given with 24-hours-notice.
