The Art Therapist lead their clients through a variety of art activities in order to improve clients' self-esteem, physical health and mental well-being. Assess clients' development, abilities, personality, interests and conflicts through their art productions and develops a treatment plan with varied interventions based on assessment, interests and objectives of therapy.
The Art Therapist reports directly to the Clinical Director and serves in an informational/collaborative role to staff and senior leadership team. The Art Therapist is responsible for the development of vision and execution in accordance with the organization’s strategic plan, priority initiatives, mission and values.
