As the COVID-19 Pandemic has rolled on and presented new challenges for all of us, day staffing has also experienced new challenges. Often, due to last-minute or previously unforeseen circumstances, arranging coverage is certainly different than it was before the global pandemic hit. Sidney not only embraces change but also leads by example as she maintains a calm approach to modifying daily schedules to ensure coverage is smooth and seamless. This has become second nature for her, with plans already being arranged and presented to me before I have time to ask! Sidney is always thinking team first, taking on responsibilities where extra support is needed by management or peers. She makes quality personal as she encourages our participants to have meaningful experiences despite last-minute changes interfering with their days. She remembers to be positive when interacting with staff and individuals, even if the day is going as none of us had planned. She follows operating procedures by striving to maintain strong attendance, despite the curve balls that life may throw her way. She is a valued member of our CBDES team!
