Josiah Richards

Josiah Richards started at The Arc of Opportunity in summer 2013 as the Operations Assistant for the Home Based Supports program. Josiah supports a team of Support Managers and Registered Nurses.

Josiah earned a Bachelor in Human Services from Salem State University in 2001, and a Master in Nonprofit Business Management from Suffolk University in 2007. He also has an eclectic nonprofit career experience, which includes The Trustees of Reservations in Leominster, the Southern New Hampshire HIV/AIDS Task Force in Nashua, the Gay Men’s Domestic Violence Project in Boston, and the Senior Center of Newton, MA. He also serves on a number of local and regional boards and civic groups.In his pastime, Josiah enjoys the outdoors, going camping, hiking, and walking throughout New England. He is also an active member of an LGBT outdoors club and trained in Wilderness First Aid as of spring 2014.
