Residential Recreation Direct Support Professional

The Residential Recreation Direct Support Professional is responsible for researching and implementing activity schedules that speak to the individuals’ choices and interests within the program to which they are assigned. Additionally, the Residential Recreation Direct Support Professional supports individuals so they are able to participate in such activities, become meaningful community members, and utilize technology to research and share opportunities that interest them. The Residential Recreation Direct Support Professional also provides light to medium maintenance and domestic functions associated with residential programs, including the personal care needs of the individuals supported, cleaning, laundry, cooking, grocery shopping, and grounds keeping duties as assigned. The Recreation Direct Support Professional maintains positive and professional relationships with the individuals served, their families/guardians, their peers, community partners and government agencies and assists in the implementation of Individual Support Plans for individuals based on assessments, objectives, and goals.

Schedule is: Friday, Saturday, Sunday
