It is seldom that you enter one of our residential homes during the holidays where you do not notice the typical excitement and warmth that a holiday atmosphere would bring.
Supporting our individuals in exploring holiday happenings out in the community is no exception. Such was the case with Carol, a resident in one of our new residential homes in Fitchburg.
Carol was supported recently by a staff member, Tim, to get some needed Christmas shopping done for family and friends (with a few “gifts” for herself of course!). Tim assisted Carol in carefully choosing some special gifts which included a festive Christmas sweater to wear to her to day program (complete with bells!).
Of course, the day wouldn’t have been complete without a visit with the jolly old elf himself, Santa.
