Recently, John from our residential program in Pepperell, enjoyed a weekend trip to the Cape to visit family. He carefully planned out sites he wanted to see with the assistance of staff, and discussed his excitement to reconnect with family members. On the first day, John was delighted to brave the cold and visit the ocean, as well as making stops at Christmas Tree Shops and visiting the Bourne Bridge. One of his favorite stops was a local arcade where he took advantage of some of the simulator games.
On the second day, John was able to spend time with family members he had not seen in quite some time. He enjoyed lunch and regaling old memories as well as showing off his new souvenirs.
John had his fill of seafood and enjoyed picking out souvenirs for his housemates and family before returning home. It was a great time had by all and John is looking forward to planning a trip again next year!
