When I think of leading by example, I think of Alesia. As the supervising PCPM over Group 4, Alesia’s primary goal is to get as many individuals as possible out to our group employment sites on a daily basis. When Alesia’s staffing needed support over a period of several months, Alesia spent the majority of her time in ratio, day after day, doing what was right by the clients and ensuring that they earned their pay! She is a hard worker who doesn’t let challenges like a day in the FSU dish room slow her down. This is also an example of collaborating with our partners, as she has developed relationships with the staff at enclaves from putting in many hours of work with each one.
I have personally witnessed her listen generously when individuals or families reached out to her on a particular day that an enclave site was closed. She took those opportunities to make quality personal and assure these folks that the site would be returning the following day. I could continue to list examples of fundamentals that Alesia demonstrates, but I feel that delivering legendary service is the perfect way to end this nomination. I believe it encompasses many of the fundamentals into one and certainly sums up Alesia’s day to day work in CBDES.
