When I think of Chantal’s work as the Training Coordinator, she demonstrates the following Way of The Arc fundamentals: "Take ownership", "Make quality personal", "Listen generously", "Take intelligent risks", "Do it right the first time", "Be positive", "Communicate, communicate, communicate", "Embrace change", and "Think team first".
Chantal’s role in enhancing and refining the reporting, quality, and timeliness of staff training had an impact on the most recent DDS OQE review. Most importantly, Chantal’s work as Training Coordinator and her application of the fundamentals referenced above impact the quality and effectiveness of The Arc’s staff and ultimately, the quality of supports and the lives of the individuals supported by The Arc of Opportunity.
