Diana has spent over 17 years in the Human Services field. She was first hired as a direct care staff for a small private school in Western Massachusetts and later a program director for a group home for youth aged individuals. Diana has also worked in the rehabilitation section of the Franklin County Sheriff's Department as a Correctional Officer. The rehabilitation housing unit which housed inmates classified as "low risk, pre-release" inmates. This housing unit followed a pilot program initiative that was grant-funded to increase rehabilitative services provided to individuals while incarcerated to reduce recidivism rates. This program was very successful and is now part of routine programming offered by the county. Diana returned to leadership positions working with at-risk youth in the Residential Division as a member of the Senior Leadership Team.
Diana arrived at The Arc of Opportunity in April of 2020 in the role of Division Director of the North Central Residential Supports. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Fitchburg State University in Fitchburg, MA, and an MBA in Strategic Leadership from New England College in Henniker, NH. In her free time, Diana can likely be found in the outdoors. Diana is an avid snowboarder, enjoys downhill longboarding, and hiking with her three dogs.
