Speech and Language Pathologist

The Speech and Language Specialist (SLP) is responsible for the assessment and evaluation of individuals in a day habilitation setting with speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders.  The SLP selects alternative communication systems and teaches their use; conducts research related to speech, language and swallowing problems; completes assessments and written reports with recommendations for Day Habilitation staff to implement; and delivers monthly dysphagia trainings for staff across the agency.

Schedule:

  • Must be available to work between the hours of 9am to 3pm.
  • 4 hours per week, or 8 hours every other week.
