Sweet Recognition
When the organization received a donation of 15 gift certificates to Edible Arrangements from the Tufts Health Plan, President and CEO Mary Heafy put out a challenge to all staff. She invited staff to nominate a colleague to receive one of the certificates. Nominations were submitted by co-workers, by supervisors, and by staff about their supervisor. They also came from Arc staff who appreciated the work of Matson staff and Matson staff recognizing the contributions of Arc Staff. It is clear that there is a great deal of admiration and respect among staff for the work of their colleagues. What follows are the nominations as submitted. All nominated staff are recognized here and will receive a certificate acknowledging the award; the asterisks designate the lucky staff whose names were drawn to receive the gift certificates. Congratulations to all who were nominated and thank you to all who took the time to recognize the good work of their colleagues.

She goes way beyond for the clients from making them healthy desserts at home and bringing them to the women to organizing their clothing, cleaning porches and other areas that can get cluttered, and always completing laundry and other tasks before her shift ends.
