Jennifer Peck – Employee Recognition Award
When Jennifer Peck began working as Director of Development for Alliance for Resource Management, she was stepping into uncharted waters. The position had been vacant for nearly 6 months and the scope of responsibilities had been expanded.
Jennifer came to us from another Arc where she performed similar responsibilities to those she performs in her position here but on a much smaller scale. Yet I knew she was the right person for the position. Jennifer brings determination and energy to her role.
Jennifer has assumed responsibility for the day-to-day management of our website. She has shifted the focus of the auction from a staff led development function to a volunteer led event with strong staff support and, in doing so, the 2010 auction raised more money with significantly fewer expenses than ever before. In addition, Jennifer has played a key role in revitalizing the capital campaign including launching the Renovate-a-Square campaign. She has brought her graphic skills to designing our newsletters and to professionalizing our recreation newsletter. She has initiated new fundraising events including the upcoming Musical Chairs Auction. She has cultivated relationships with our donors and lets them know how important they are to the organization.
Jennifer juggles many balls every day with style and grace. For all the changes she has brought to the agency and will continue to bring to the agency, we honor her as Employee of the Month for November 2010. Thank you and congratulations, Jennifer!
