Ron Hurd Memorial Lecture Series

Arc Community Services is proud to announce the upcoming Ron Hurd Memorial Lecture Series for 2010-2011. This is a series of informational presentations on topics of interest to families of individuals with a cognitive or intellectual disability.

Each session will be focused on providing information and discussion to assist families in becoming more knowledgeable and empowered as well as providing an opportunity for families to network with each other to enhance the lives of their entire family.

Sessions include:

December 2, 2010 – Estate Planning

February 8, 2011 – Meeting Medical Home Care Needs

April 7, 2011 – Taking Care of Yourself and Your Adult Relationship While Lifetime Parenting a Child with Special Needs

June 9, 2011 – Five Wishes (End of Life Care)
