Mandy Barriero – Employee Recognition Award

Mandy has worked in the Day-Habilitation program for four years.  Her skills as a case manager have grown immensely since her arrival to the agency.  Mandy has a developed a great rapport with all the individuals in her program, especially those on her caseload.  In addition to this, Mandy stands out by the way she interacts with a particular individual that presents very challenging behaviors at times that many staff often struggle with how to help him.  Mandy demonstrates an abundance of patience with this individual and offers a genuine affection towards him and he seems to enjoy the program more than he would without her.  For her patience that she demonstrates, Mandy is honor for Employee of the Month of July 2010.  Thank you and congratulations, Mandy.
