Habitat for Humanity will build an accessible house in FITCHBURG for a Fitchburg family

WINTER/SPRING 2010-11

 You may be eligible for this home if you:

• Have a family member living with you who is intellectually disabled and substantially limited in his or her ability to function.
• Live in Fitchburg.
• Are currently living in inadequate or unsafe housing.
• Have a steady income, but not enough to qualify for a standard mortgage (example: annual income for a family of 4 is approximately $23,450 – $46,900).
• Pay your bills on time and pay on your debt regularly.
• Are willing to work hard with Habitat volunteers to help build your own home (300 hours/ one adult; 500 hours/ two adults).
• Are a U.S. Citizen or documented legal permanent resident.

 To obtain an application for a Habitat home,

you must attend an informational meeting.

All adult household members who will live in the home are required to attend.
